Ali's trips
Ali and I have done two trips together and have another one booked.
First: November 2023, 5 days, from Lisbon to Faro (for Ali's B2 Portuguese exam) with a stop in Évora, a place Ali wanted to visit.
Second: June 2024, 5 days, through the Minho region. We drove along the coast from Porto to Viana do Castelo (where Ali had an appointment), stopping along the way to visit small coast towns. Then drove back through the countryside also stopping in small towns such as Ponte de Lima, Guimarães, Braga,...
Ali says in an interview with Locallista:

… Cátia was very punctual …, kind, friendly, a safe driver, extremely helpful and very good company… I am studying Portuguese so I specifically requested the tour be entirely in Portuguese... We also did some mini grammar lessons which I had requested … Cátia had clearly done her homework on the sites we visited… Cátia was very responsive to questions and highly communicative and was able to address all my queries thoroughly … The tour was very engaging. Cátia’s personality shone through. It was especially interactive in my particular case as the tour was also Portuguese immersion, so we were talking almost constantly. As I had requested a challenge, Cátia would encourage me to talk to locals, which I would have found very difficult to do without her and I would order in restaurants and check in to hotels using Portuguese while she was present to help me if I had difficulty. We had discussed this before the tour and I was very pleased that she did this exactly as I had asked … Cátia was completely flexible and adapted the tour to my needs so that I could incorporate more rest into the program. I highly recommend Cátia’s tours and have already booked another tour with her in October. 10/10
